  • Day 1: Arrival day

    Our guide and driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Once there, you may stay in the hotel and get some rest. Welcome to our beautiful Mongolia!

  • Day 2: UB- Zorgolkhairkhan- BagaGazarin chuluu

    Our driver and tour guide will pick you up from your hotel at an arranged time. Then we will drive south to the Gobi area from Ulaanbaatar and cross the steppe and arrive at the Zorgolkhairkhan Mountain. We’ll drive about 260km for the day and terrain is generally green with scarce scattered vegetation. It’s located in the Central province which is south-west of Ulaanbaatar and in the area of outstanding natural beauty comprising striking sand dunes, steppe and mountains where many wild flowers grow and rare animals roam. It is a low impact, Eco-friendly camp which offers a real taste of nomadic life. This granite rock high mountain is sacred and is worshiped by the local people every year. There is Ar burd sand dunes in the 3 km from Zorgolkhairkhan Mountain. We will have a lunch on the road and drive further to the Baga Gazarin Chuluu, which is a natural protected area, which is an ancient sea bottom plus paleontological site for fossils.

  • Day 3: BagaGazarin chuluu- Tsagaan suvarga

    After breakfast we will drive for Tsagaan suvarga or White Stupa which is incredible rocky formations about 60 meters high and 400 meters long. In ancient times this area was a bottom of the sea and very rich of copper. Tsagaan suvarga is in the list of Mongolian strategic important deposits. Here your picture would come out that you are on the moon.

  • Day 4: Tsagaan Suvarga- Yol Canyon

    After breakfast, we will drive for South Gobi province and drive by several villages Delgertsogt, Mandal-gobi province center, and Tsogt-Ovoo. We will have lunch on the road at the Mandal Gobi town. Then we will drive to Yol Canyon, which is a deep and narrow gorge in the Gurvan Saikhan Mountains of southern Mongolia. We will drive around 405km for the day. The valley is named after the Lammergeier, which is Mongolian. The lammergeier is an Old World vulture; therefore, the name is often translated to Valley of the Vultures or Valley of the Eagles. In the valley, we can walk or ride a horse through it. Walking by the fresh and cool springs with green grass side will be great refreshing in the middle of the Gobi.

  • Day 5: Yol Canyon- Khongor Sand Dunes

    Today we will drive to Khongor Sand Dune (200km away from the Ger-Camp). At the Dunes, our activities include hiking or riding a camel on the sand dunes. Khongor Sand Dunes are the largest and most spectacular sand dunes in Mongolia. It is also known as the ‘singing dunes’, they are up to 800m high, 20km wide and about 100km long. A hike to the top of the dunes will provide you indescribable views of the desert.

  • Day 6: Khongor Sand Dune- Bayan Zag

    The next journey will be to the Bayan Zag the paleontology site of late Crafeceous dinosaurs in the Gobi (145km worth of driving), and optional activities would be a short hike to visit a nomad family and search some fossils on our own. The flaming cliffs of Bayan Zag are a sightseeing destination of their own and provide a spectacular opportunity to view the amazing beauty of the Gobi desert. We will learn how Gobi Nomadic people survive from the harsh cold winter with Saxaul Tree. We will stay over to the Ger-camp and dinner will be served at place.

  • Day 7: Bayan Zag-Ongi monastery

    After breakfast, we will drive to Ongi Monastery, which was one of the biggest monastery of Mongolia constructed in between 1760-1810. At the time, it has over 1000 monks, 28 temples and other buildings. It destroyed in 1939 under the control of Communist party.

  • Day 8: Ongi monastery- Kharkhorin

    After breakfast, we will drive to the north for Kharkhorum, an ancient Mongolian capital city. Today the city is completely ruined and instead one of the major Buddhist Monasteries that were erected few hundred years ago stands there today. We will visit Kharkhorin museum and will have journey to 13th century. We will have a lunch break over there. We will drive around 320km for the day.

  • Day 9: Kharkhorin- Tsenkher hot spring spa

    After visiting Erdene Zuu monastery we will drive west to Tsenkher Hot Spring for 2 hours. Tsenkher Spa 86C hot water spring up from the deep of the earth and contains many minerals that is very effective for health. We will spend free day in here to relax and get some rest.

  • Day 10: Tsenkher hot spring - Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur

    After breakfast, we will go to Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur (White Lake). Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake is also known as White Lake which is a lake in the Khangai Mountains in Central Mongolia. The Khorgo volcano is located near the eastern end of the lake and the Suman River springs from Lake. Many locals and tourists are visit to here and very famous by its stunning beautiful nature.

  • Day 11: Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake- Tumurbulag

    Today we will drive north to Five River Camp in Tumurbulag village. Tumurbulag is the home of The Khotgoid, one of the most ancient nomadic tribes of Mongolia. After we get the camp, we will go for fishing to the five river basin, which is the famous 5 river’s junction for fishing.

  • Day 12: Tumurbulag- Khuvsgul Lake

    After your breakfast, we will drive farther to the North for Khuvsgul Lake for about 210km and we’ll arrive at Khatgal. Lake Khuvsgul is the largest freshwater lake in Central Asia. The landscape around the lake is unique and inimitable in its beauty. The depth of the lake is 100-200km. Dinner will be served at a Ger-Camp. We’ll stay overnight at the Ger-camp.

  • Day 13: Khuvsgul Lake

    After breakfast, we will take a hike to get an overview of Khuvsgul Lake. Next, we will visit the Tsaatan (reindeer nomads) who have moved down from the high mountains and keeping to their regular seasonal migration. We will view how the nomads work with their reindeer. Lunch will be served at the camp. We will go horseback-riding for an hour. The temperatures in this area can be quite chilly, thanks to the Siberian winds. After that we are going to the Ardgin Zuu Mountain. It has a beautiful environment, and the view is just amazing.

  • Day 14: Khuvsgul Lake- Ikh Uul Soum

    After lunch, we will drive to The Deer Stone place. We will able to see ruins that are from the time period between 1500 BC until 500 AD. We will then drive to Ikh Uul Soum in the Khuvsgul province. It is about 200 km away from Khuvsgul Lake.

  • Day 15: Ikh Uul Soum- Amarbayasgalan Monastery

    After breakfast, we will drive to the Amarbayasgalan Monastery. It is about 300 km away from Ikh Uul Soum. Amarbayasgalant Monastery or the “Monastery of Tranquil Felicity” is one of the three largest Buddhist monastic centers in Mongolia. Lunch will be served in a cafeteria on the road.

  • Day 16: Amarbayasgalan Monastery-Ulaanbaatar city

    After breakfast, we will drive back to the Ulaanbaatar city. Lunch will be served in a cafeteria. We will drive around 400km on the paved road and arrive in Ulaanbaatar by late night. We will transfer you to your hotel.

  • Day 17: Departure day

    After you check out from your hotel we will transfer you to the “Genghis Khan” International airport for departure.
